From funk to jazz, rock to reggae, I teach drumming with a focus on both technical foundations and musical expression. Lessons are tailored to your goals - whether that’s mastering rudiments, reading notation, or preparing for live performance.
I teach using both acoustic and electric kits, and students typically need access to their own drum kit at home. Suitable for beginners through to aspiring professionals.

Piano lessons in South Wales
I teach both classical and jazz piano, from complete beginner up to Grade 8 and beyond. Lessons are shaped around your interests, whether you’re working towards exams, developing improvisation skills, or simply playing for the joy of it.
Theory, sight reading, and composition are all part of my approach and I’m equally happy to teach children or adults, from ages 6 and up.

Yes. I prepare students for exams including ABRSM and Trinity, or we can keep things informal depending on your preference.

I hold Grade 8 in both piano (ABRSM) and drums (Trinity, with Honours), and I’ve been playing professionally for over 30 years. I’ve taught music for more than 15 years, working with students of all ages and abilities.
Alongside teaching, I regularly perform with tribute acts and jazz ensembles, and have appeared on BBC, S4C, Radio 4, and Radio 3, as well as international gigs and major festivals like Brecon Jazz.
